Local musician Noel Fraser will be amongst a host of local talent taking to the stage during the weekend.

Street Eat is sponsored by building and construction company Willmott Dixon – who are developing the new £80 million Rochdale Riverside retail and leisure scheme in the town centre.

The new development will feature 200,000 square foot of retail and leisure space, including a six-screen cinema above the retail units.

Street food traders will be selling an array of tasty food alongside the bar.

Traders include: La Mancha, Cocka Doodle Moo, The Clock Tower Dining Room, Vicolo de Vino, The Flying Horse Hotel, The Riverside Restaurant and more.

Paul Ambrose, from Rochdale Town Centre Management, said local traders have come up with great ideas and the menu is looking very tasty: “I am pleased that Street Eat is back for its second year to bring people together through food and drink and to celebrate Rochdale’s town centre eateries in a fun festival setting.

Last year we had a great response, and I hope people will come out again and support this local community event.

It’s family-friendly – you’ll be able to buy and try as many small dishes as you like, and enjoy them in a relaxed atmosphere.”

Admission is free, and no tickets are needed.
