The deadline to register to vote is midnight 17th April 2018, otherwise, you will not be able to vote.

Clare Poole, election’s manager at Rochdale Borough Council, said:

“Time is now running out to make sure you can take part in the local elections, so please take action now if you’re not already registered to vote.

It’s easy and only takes five minutes online – just head to rochdale.gov.uk/registertovote.

Councillors make important decisions on your behalf so we will be reminding residents to make sure they have their say by voting and of course to vote you need to be registered.

Registering is a legal obligation but most importantly, if you aren’t registered you won’t be able to exercise your democratic rights at the ballot box.”
