Manchester Airport celebrates Burns night with international artist Rob Pointon, latest work, exhibiting at this special event.
In 2016 Rob Pointon became the airport’s artist in residence, recently visited Inverness and Orkney with Loganair to capture the beauty of Scotland in his paintings.
His work will be showcased on the 25th of January at a Scottish themed Platform Airport City event at the Manchester Airport interchange.
The Platform Airport City event is free to attend will take place between 11.30am and 2.00pm with traders including 4 Lunch, Somtam and Backs Deli offering a wide range of meals and snacks including some Scottish themed delicacies.

Loganair will also be attending and offering one lucky a visitor the chance to win a pair of flights to Stornoway (Isle of Lewis).
Pointon, from Cheshire, will also be on hand to talk about his latest work. Scenes painted include Scapa Flow, Kirkwall Harbour, Aviemore and the Cairngorm Mountains as Rob battled the Scottish winter.
