At long last, the tree is up, the lights have been switched on and Zippy is on the roof. There is so much excitement for the Christmas Markets, we can not wait to go! Here are the opening times, see you there.

Last year More than 100,000 people visited the markets opening weekend and this weekend is expected to be just as popular.

Albert Square market is open from 10am to 9pm every day. All other sites will be open from 10am to 7.30pm in November and from 10am to 8pm in December.

All bars and food areas will remain open until 9pm.

The ice rink in Cathedral Gardens will be open from 11am to 9pm every day until January 7 (closed Christmas Day and Boxing Day).

This year our Manchester Christmas Markets are at the following sites.

King Street (French market)

Market Street

New Cathedral Street

The Corn Exchange

St Ann’s Square (German market)
