 🙂 MALTON presenter and entertainer Ryan Swain has now been recognised and nominated in the Yorkshire Gig Guide – Grassroots Awards 2018 for an outstanding individual of the year.

He has made it through to the final five nominees in each category at the finals this year which is set to be held at Imperial Music in Mexborough on Sunday 7th October where he will find out if he has won.

Ryan has appeared presenting and entertaining at lots of festivals and events this year across Yorkshire and beyond over the last couple of years. After a hugely successful year last year, Ryan managed to sell out shows this year att Staxtonbury, Tribfest, Flamingo Land Resort.
Ryan who’s career kick-started as a coat-style entertainer at one of the UK’s most famous Theme Parks Flamingo Land Resort in North Yorkshire in 2012 said he is thrilled and delighted to be recognised for this award.
Ryan left Flamingo Land Resort in 2017 and was the first presenter of their hugely popular PARTY IN THE PARK concerts.

Ryan is now one of the best live presenters in the UK hosting huge events and television and radio shows nationwide, and he has so far earned celebrity status through his success and has gained over 100,000 followers online.
He has recently been reviewed as “A young Michael Barrymore, a real live wire and a breath of fresh air to entertainment.”
He said: “I am very proud of what I have achieved and things keep getting bigger and better and even more exciting than I could imagine.
With no management, no endorsements and no financial backing I have managed to achieve so much and I am incredibly proud of that.
