Councillor Elise Wilson, Cabinet Member for Reform and Governance at Stockport Council said: “We know that you have lots of wonderful ideas on how to make your neighbourhoods even better.
We want you to suggest new ideas that we could invest in, and you could grow, together with your friends and neighbours. The Stockport Local Fund can help bring your ideas to life.”
Applications for the initial round of funding must arrive between Monday 9th July and Sunday 5th August 2018.
You can submit your application either online or even on your mobile phone!
If you’re not quite ready at this point, the great news is there will be more opportunities to apply for shortly.

‘Stockport Local’ is Stockport Council’s new way of working with communities. It’s about providing ways for neighbours to work together, care for each other and build stronger, thriving communities. This new fund is the latest step to support our communities and follows the launch last year of the Stockport Local online directory of community groups and services.
